This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and process the information You provide in using REALEYES3D's web site and MOBILE SCANNING SERVICE (the "Service"), as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it.

REALEYES3D, a company established under the laws of France, collects and processes, or has third party service providers who collect and process on REALEYES3D's behalf, personal data relating to You, as strictly necessary to (1) perform the Service, in particular to convey the data You store on Your Account and send to the address of Your choice by means of the REALEYES3D Service, (2) invoice to You Your use of the Service and (3) carry out REALEYES3D marketing activities.

The Information We Collect

In order to provide the Service, REALEYES3D gathers and processes the following information.

Register Information: any information provided when voluntarily registering at the website, including, but not limited to, user name, User ID and password
User Profile: any information about the user, filled in by the user on the REALEYES3D website.
End User Feedback: any information that is reported to REALEYES3D by filling in the feedback forms on the Website or transmitted by any other means.
Passive Information: Information that is necessary in order to provide You with the desired functionality of the Service, such as a session ID token, source and destination addressing information, and the version of the software You are using.
Email addresses
Subscriber Information: Information that is necessary in order to verify Your identity and to provide Services, such as Your name, and email address on the website.

You can update Your personal information at any time by logging into the REALEYES3D's web site, qipit.com.

REALEYES3D uses the information collected to set up and provide the Service to You. REALEYES3D also stores some or all of the information gathered from processing images through the Service, in a database, for the purposes of improving the accuracy and performance of the Service. REALEYES3D will not provide third parties with access to any information captured from processed images. We may review personal information for the purposes of resolving a problem or support issue.

The Service

The Service allows You to capture, transmit, store and process information contained in documents, and other physical media. Using the MMS feature on Your mobile phone, You transmit images and related information taken with Your camera phone to the REALEYES3D's server. These images are processed, stored and then routed to an email address or to a fax number as requested by the sender.

We store the images after processing is completed (original and scanned pictures), until the size limit of the user account is reached.

We may also store the content of email and fax messages (contacts, subjects and messages).

From time to time, we offer optional questionnaires and surveys to end-users for such purposes as assessing end-user's interests and needs. The use of the information collected will be explained in detail in the survey itself. If we collect personally identifiable information from our end-users in these questionnaires and surveys, the user will be given a notice of how the information will be used prior to their participation in the survey and questionnaire.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

When You use the Service to send an email or fax to someone else, Your phone number or email address is displayed to the recipient.

Except as expressly provided in this policy or in the REALEYES3D's End-User License Agreement, or as stated at the time we request information, we do not disclose Your email address, phone number or any other personal information to any third parties. We reserve the right to disclose personal information as required by law, however, and when we determine that disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent illegal activities, suspected fraud or violations of the REALEYES3D Terms of Service and Use Agreement, to protect or exercise our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.

If we merge with, or are acquired by, another company, the resulting combined company will use the personal information You have provided as described in this policy. If we cease operation, Your personal information may be transferred to and used by another company that offers similar or related products or services.

Freedom and protection of personal privacy

The information we collect to set up and provide the Service, or to improve the accuracy and performance of the Service, could be processed automatically. They are exclusively for use by REALEYES3D, and will under no circumstances be provided to third parties. In application of law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relative to information technology, files and personal privacy, You have the right to contest, access and rectify any data concerning You. To exercise this right, please send a letter by post to the computer department at REALEYES3D head office or at the following email address: accessright@realeyes3d.com. You have the right to object to Your personal data being used, for sufficient reasons.

Log Files and Cookies

When You visit our web site, we collect limited non-personally identifying information that Your browser makes available whenever You visit a web site. This log information includes Your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of Your query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify Your browser.

Security

Our web site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. When You enter sensitive information, such as a credit card number on our registration forms, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects the information using both server authentication and data encryption.
